Tesori Region Happy Dance
Just minutes ago, I put the finishing touches on the Puglia region in Tesori. I am absolutely in love with this piece but the red gets very monotonous (sp?) sometimes. I was going to continue with Tesori but I decided to switch up and then in a couple weeks I will go back to Tesori and do two more regions. I may see a 2007 finish on this one!! :)
Anyway, here is a picture of the entire project finished to date. It really looks great in person with the little gold touches I added here and there.
And here is a close-up of Puglia. I can't wait to show DH when he gets home from work. DH was born in Trani which is located in the Puglia region. In looking at the motifs, Puglia is famous for olives for olive oil, the sea which is absolutely beautiful, figs, and some beautiful pottery. I am the proud owner of some pieces of pottery.
I decided to go back to Rose which I was doing way back in November of 2005. I put it away at the half way point so maybe, just maybe, I can have this done in a few weeks. That would be cool and could open up another spot for me to start something off of my multi-project challenge. I think that would be a great reward for finishing something that has been sitting for a year.
Have a great afternoon everyone!!
P.S. If you look at the bottom border, you will see the extra space that caused me to frog two sides of the border to get it right. When I did it, I didn't look at the chart and just did one space. Of course, there were supposed to be TWO spaces. :)

Oh Mia! It looks terrific!
I can just barely tell, and wouldn't have noticed the error if you hadn't pointed it out. :)

Dont you just hate them frogs!!!! Looks great though!
Tesori is looking amazing. I love the way you've chosen to use the red and green with accents of gold. I will get to this one next year I hope!
