Tesori Update
Blogger is finally cooperating and I am now able to post my pictures of my Tesori. The top row of regions is finally finished. I am so in love with this piece but it does get tiring with just stitching with red. But on the up side it does stitch quickly. I started the motifs of Veneto on Friday and they were finished by the end of the weekend. I just needed to add a little gold backstitch for some sparkly around the hearts. I did that yesterday afternoon.
Here is the photo of the completed top row:
Here is the close-up of Veneto:
I started the next region which will go under Calabria (the first one on the right). It is Puglia and it is very near and dear to my heart. My DH was born and lived there til he was 5. My brother in law G also comes from that region. Last night I started on the lacy border and my hope is that I have the inside border finished tonight so I can start on the motifs.
I didn't get much done with the baby yesterday. Poor thing was so tired that I swear she was using toothpicks to keep her eyes open. :) But I didn't mind as I love helping out my friend. She is doing fine and other than some soreness, she should be out and about by tomorrow.
So today I plan on doing laundry (it never ends...sigh) and I need to vacuum and straighten up the family room. Tomorrow I will get my other housework started so that as the weekend approaches I can get ready to enjoy a non-busy weekend.
Have a great day everyone!!
