TGIF
I am so glad today is Friday. This week has been brutal with my DD's school work. She has had a major test every single day this week. I can't really blame the teachers (well I can but I won't). It seems that every end of chapter occurred last week so the teachers scheduled tests for all this week for those biggie tests. She does really well and so far of all the results I got back the lowest was a 95. I am very proud of her but very tired today. I am so looking forward to the weekend. I will be very happy when we are all home today.
DH plans on renting some movies and we plan on vegetating in front of the t.v. tonight. I do have to run to Target later to get birthday gifts for two parties my DD is attending this weekend, but that is all I am doing tonight. I have a date with my family, the sofa, movies and of course my stitching.
I managed lots of stitching yesterday on "Witches Brew". I not only had my school wait but DD had gymnastics last night so I got a great uninterrupted hour of stitching at the gym. While I was waiting for DD to finish her lesson, the next class started coming in. As I was putting my stuff away I noticed a woman cross-stitching. I can't believe it. There are actually 3 stitchers in my burb. (the first two are me and dear sis in law). She was working on a Stoney Creek sports design for her DD. It was very nice and I look forward to seeing her progress next week.
Of course I stitched during Survivor and hopefully today or tomorrow I will finish up with Witches Brew.
On the agenda for today is laundry. The weather is rainy and damp and chilly and since I did the majority of my household cleaning yesterday, I plan on doing laundry and stitching between loads. I also need to vacuum but that can wait til later.
Have a great weekend everyone!!

Congrats to you and DD for making it through the week. Kick back and enjoy your movies and stitching! :D
I'm doing laundry today too. My goal is to do two loads a day, but that doesn't always work out so today I'm catching up. My youngest boys tell me they like the smell of the iron when I'm pressing shirts, lol!
WAH! Send the chilly stuff my way - mid 90's here today!
