Darn Rotten Frog!!
For those who don't know, the term "frog" in stitching means to rip-it, rip-it, rip-it!!! And rip-it I did. Last night, I was happily stitching the inner border on Puglia with the hopes that it would be finished LAST night so I could start motifs tonight. I was watching Dancing with the Stars and merrily going about my stitching business. I glanced down at the chart to count out how many 2 stitch places there were and then looked at what I had already stitched. Somehow something looked off. Well after some colorful words and the look of horror on my face, I realized I made a mistake. A mistake with RED floss on WHITE fabric!!! Sigh... At one point and one point only this Italian designer skipped a stitch around that damn inner border. I KNOW why she did it. She did it because I have yet to stitch whatever region will go underneath Puglia. Those regions are going to have to match up eventually. But at the time, I just stared and cursed that extra space in the border. I started to rip out the stitches last night taking care not to get any red fuzz on the white fabric. About 10 minutes later, I gave up and went to bed. YES I went to bed at 9 PM.
When I woke up this morning, I barely had coffee before I was sitting ripping out the rest of the stitches. Lucky for me, there is no red fuzz and it ended up only being one side (bottom) of the border. But I couldn't go about my business for the day til it was ripped out. So hopefully later this afternoon or this evening, I will redo that darn border and hopefully will be able to get at least ONE motif started before bedtime.
I hate frogs (real or stitching), I hate bugs and I hate snakes. There I said it and it makes me feel better...
After the frogging of the border, I managed to fall clean my dining room. As I type, my tablecloth, table runner and curtain are hanging on the line. It smells good in the house and will smell even better with the fresh table linens. Tomorrow I get to tackle the dust bunnies under the sofas in the living room. This is seriously cutting into any afternoon stitching I get. Whoever invented fall/spring cleaning had serious issues. I see nothing wrong with a few dust bunnies.
Have a great day everyone!!

Those are the best bunnies to have - they don't eat anything, and really, who is going to look under your couch? I say leave 'em! Tee hee!
Tesori looks amazing! I love seeing your progress on this piece. So sorry the frogs got hold of it though. Beautiful!
Dust bunnies are not hamrful at all and I agree, I see nothing wrong with having a few around! Plus anything that cuts into stitching time is bad, especially cleaning! lol
Sorry about your frog, but glad that all is well!!!
By the way, welcome to the Stitching Bloggers Club!
Sorry you had the froggy visit you but please do not send him my way as he is not welcome here. LOL
Dust bunnies are good at least you can keep tract of them.
