Getting Ready

Only a few more days til CATS!! I am nowhere near ready but it is not like I have to pack up the family. It is just me and my WIPS and what I plan on stitching on. It shouldn't be a problem because I am taking my WIPS with me. I just have to decide on which thread tote comes with me. I am getting excited but between now and Friday afternoon I have lots to do around the house.

With school in full swing, I can't really think about it because the kids have tons of tests and quizzes this week. That is not counting regular homework. YUCK!!

Then there is housecleaning. Sigh... I hate this job anymore but it has to be done. No one has ever found my maid. I am starting to think I made her up. :)

DD's room is finished and looks great. Looking right next door to DS's room is like a before and after picture. His is worse than hers. He is a slob and I told him I am now taking matters into my own hands. I think he is a little worried about coming home from school today to see how many trash bags I have lined up outside. LOL I figure today is the dejunking of his room and tomorrow the cleaning. Then on Thursday I will give a quick once over of the house so that I can go away on Friday without worry. Of course, I will come home to a mess on Saturday but it won't be that bad if I get everything done before hand. Easier said than done.

I never put a stitch in this weekend and last night it felt great to stitch while watching t.v. I am making great progress with Coffee but tonight will be a real test. I am up to more coffee beans and you know what that means. It means one stitch here and one stitch there and two stitches here and so on. Yes those coffee beans are made up of about 15 colors but the end result is so worth it. It is just I go to bed after an hour or so of stitching and it doesn't look like much. But once those are finished, I will make great progress through the rest of this page of the chart and the next page. Cool or what??

After CATS I will be getting back to Tesori. The weather is getting cooler and it is not so bad to have a ton of linen on my lap like it was in the heat of the summer. I figure I will do a region and then move onto another project. Sort of like a rotation but I am not commiting to a rotation. You know me and rotations are a bad thing. :)

Not much else going on. So I best get my day started and start dumping out my son's room.
