My Thoughts on Life and Family and Where Every Stitch is a hope, a dream, a smile, a prayer, a good thought.

Ahhhhhhh!!!!

That sound you hear was me last night sitting in my "new" favorite spot in the family room with my Tesori. I actually managed to do most of the border for the Liguria region and with any luck later this afternoon I finish up the little bit of border and start on the motifs. What a great stress reliever and well deserved stitching time after my past few weeks.

I have managed to tackle most of Mt. Laundry and am finishing up today. It is sooooo hot and humid and sticky here. But I have the laundry hanging and in a bit I need to fold a dryer load. If all goes well, the beds will be stripped and laundered tomorrow.

Bright and early (well for the kids anyway), the swing set was installed. By the time DD woke up, they were finishing up. She ran outside as soon as the installers left and played for all of 5 minutes. It was just too hot for her. LOL Hopefully tonight when the sun is not shining on part of the set, she will play a little more. It looks awesome. DH was in the area and came home to inspect. He decided to move it over a bit and will do that in the next few days. He needs room to build his shed. I guess that is our next project, huh?

I spent some time last night reading blogs and bbs and found that the designer for Tesori is going to have another design starting in September. I understand a few of the words but not all. Maybe Tina (Italian-Scot) can enlighten me. I am sure it may be another something that I have to do and cannot live without. LOL

I am also hoping to have either a progress picture or finish picture of Liguria later this week. If tonight is like last night, I should plow through another good bit of it.

I hope you are all staying cool if it is hot where you are.
Have a great day!!!

Wish I could sit and stitch! It's been far too long, but there's still so many things to do in the continuing saga of the Renovated House. :D
