Tesori Update

It felt so great to be back in our family room again. Okay it is messy and I have lots of work to do for the rest of the week but hey, new carpet, furniture and t.v. equals great stitching time in my favorite room in the house. LOL I finished up Lazio tonight and took a quick picture:Some of the motifs in this region are St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, the Colosseum and the Lupa Di Roma (a she-wolf statue in one of the plazas in Rome). I tried finding out what that worm-type thing is but no luck. I also don't know what the harp-like thing symbolizes. But it looks great and I am very happy with the color choices especially after stitching here in the family room tonight. This will be perfect when completely finished.

The next region is Liguria and from the chart, it looks like this is a vacation/beach resort area. A perfect chart to stitch during the summer. :)

Have a great evening everyone!

Congrats on getting the carpet installed and the room mostly put back together again!! My house is a mess with the window installation going on, but what an improvement! Also glad to see you made it through the school year. Take some time off for some fun! :D

It's nice to hear that you can relax in your family room now. I'm sure it looks beautiful! Tesori is coming along beautifully, too. I hope you'll bring it to CATS and show it off :)

Your stitching is gorgeous! I would love to know more about your project. My father is Calabresi (born and raised in Catanzaro), so I really appreciate the Calabria portion. :)

Glad you are settling in your family room. I know I couldn't live in this house without ours (it use to be the garage).
I love your Tesori. I am particularly fond of the little mushrooms as I live next to the mushroom capital of the world. : )
