TGIF

Happy Friday to you All!!!! I love Fridays even if they are busy for me usually. I normally try to get all my household stuff done so I can enjoy the weekend with DH and the kids and not have to worry about cleaning something. I normally straighten and stuff but the big stuff is done during the week.

I woke up a little late this morning and I was very frazzled but the kids got off to school on time all decked out in their Eagles wear. LOL Sunday is a big game for our Philadelphia Eagles and I hope they can do it. It always seems that we choke during a big game. That is why you don't see us in a Superbowl. But I am looking forward to Sundays game.

Well the weather forecasters finally talked and we are expecting 6-10 inches of snow right now. It could be more but won't be less according to them. It should start tomorrow morning and snow right through Sunday. My kids are already bouncing off the walls. I am happy for them and look forward to seeing them play in the snow. Chances are I will be out there at some point too. I went out early this morning to get birthday gifts for TWO parties my daughter has this weekend. Well the roads were crowded (it was after rush hour) and the supermarket parking lot was full. Everyone is running out for stuff. It makes me laugh. What would these people do if we lived somewhere that had TONS of snow all the time in the winter? But it is fun to look at the news and watch people buying shovels, snowblowers, food and the like. Also between the snow and the Eagles game, people are in good spirits and it is fun to watch.

I figure tomorrow will be a good day for soup and some fun foods. I make these things called panzarotti and since I got the deep fryer for Christmas, I may do them tomorrow. I can get all the prep work done early in the day and then we can eat whenever.

Last night I stitched a bit on the dragon and am loving how it is coming. I will wait a bit to show the picture but it is coming to life (at least the sky part LOL). That is my plan for the weekend....snow, food, stitching and the t.v. What a combination!! Hopefully DH will not have to work so we can all have a nice weekend together. It has been awhile since we have been home and it is something we are all looking forward to.

Well I best mosey along for now. I have some household stuff to do and dinner prep for tonight as father in law comes on Fridays and I need to have everything started as M has one of the bday parties tonight.
