Go Away Dreary Weather!!!

Sheesh, enough already. Since I don't know when, we have only had one day with some sunshine. Other than that every day has been rain, dreary, more rain, dreary, etc. Enough is enough. I shouldn't whine when I see and hear what is going on in the world around me, but what is going on??? This morning on the news, I saw California and Lake Tahoe. California has had about a years worth of rain in a week and Lake Tahoe has had a ton of snow. Meanwhile here on the east coast which is known for its brutal winters, we are having almost spring like temperatures and weather. I did hear about the Tsunami rocking the earth on its axis and maybe the rest of the world is feeling the effects. I just hope Mother Earth rights herself soon and of course, my prayers are with all of those who have experienced so much loss and suffering in the past few weeks.

Besides the weather, there is not much going on in my world. That is a good thing. Yesterday my DNephew was here and I didn't get much accomplished. DH worked all day and I entertained three children. I don't know who was more tired. I did manage some stitching on my Celtic Prayer and hopefully this week I will get a lot finished. There is a lot of half cross stitches in there but they get boring after awhile so I have been jumping around from doing them and doing some areas that are cross stitched. This little project is one of those that should be a quick stitch. I have decided that I am the "World's Slowest Stitcher". But I have come to grips with it and I figure as long as I enjoy what I am doing, I will have some finishes this year. I kinda want some snowy weather because that always slows everyone down and those are the days where I will stitch for hours on end. I was going to stitch on Coffee last night but I was just too dang tired. The kids and I were in bed by 9 PM last night.

Tonight my father in law's cousins who are here from Italy are supposed to come over for coffee. They leave tomorrow and have been wanting to come over to see our new home. Well it is through no fault of ours. When they come here, they come to shop. They hit every mall in a 20-30 mile radius and just shop from morning til closing. Father in law wanted us to have them for dinner and we said yes. Well they said no. So tonight they get coffee and cake. I can't do a meal on a Monday. Mondays are my kids biggest days with homework and back to school after the weekend stuff. Who knows, they may not even come which is fine by me. If that happens, I will be in my jammies and in my chair by 8 PM and will stitch til bedtime. So as of right now my evening is up in the air.

Since I really don't have much more to report, I will wish you all a Happy Monday!!
