Merry Day After...

Ahhhhh, it felt good to sleep late this morning. It has been a whirlwind around here since Christmas Eve and this is the first I have been able to get online since my last blog entry. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I did. Of course, I ate too much and am very uncomfortable in my jeans right now. I swear I can look at food and it goes directly to the tummy and butt. LOL Anyway, I had fun and the pounds will come off after all the holiday festivities.

My house looks like Toys R Us and Best Buy exploded in our house. I likened it to Santa having to make a quick takeoff and most of his sleigh contents landed in our living room. LOL But the kids had a blast, DH had a blast and I had fun watching it all unfold.

I did not get any stitching stuff but I did get a new watch from DH, a remote controlled car starter from DH (I wanted this as I like to warm the car up before I get the kids to school) and makeup (Clinique) from the kids. Other gifts I got are clothes and a deep fryer. How excited am I??? I have wanted a deep fryer since I saw sis in laws three years ago. Well my other sis in law C got one for me (and one for her too LOL) this year. Now the pounds will never come off. LOL

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were a lot of fun and I really have to say I enjoyed both days very much. Now I am looking forward to relaxing for the next week til Holidays Part 3 (New Year's Eve) and Part 4 (New Year's Day). But it will be fun and we will be with my DH's family enjoying the coming of the new year which we all want to be uneventful.
