72 Degrees on December 1
I cannot believe the weather here in southeastern PA right now. It is gloomy, muggy, misty and an all around bad hair day. By tonight the temps are going to drop and we could possibly get some snow on Monday. I find that hard to believe because as of right now the 5-day forecast is predicting 41 degrees on Monday. It is hard to get Christmas-y when I am ready to put on shorts and a t-shirt. I won't because they are put away for the winter.
Today my kids get out at 12:30 because of a faculty meeting. I decided to spend the afternoon baking Christmas cookies. I don't know what yet but I still have that Chocolate Snickerdoodle dough that must be baked. So I will start there and DD and I will have an enjoyable (I hope) afternoon.
So far for the weekend, only tomorrow night is booked. I figure tomorrow during the day I will start decorating the inside of the house. DH needs to get me some boxes from the attic. They are too heavy for me to manuever through the small attic doorway. Then tomorrow night we are going out to a party.
Sunday my plan is to go to Mass to see that first Advent candle lit and then come home and maybe do some more baking (depending on today) and finalizing my shopping lists. I haven't even started yet so I figure I will make a list and spend some time Monday doing some online stuff. Then next weekend, DH and I will go out and pretty much plow through the list. The list is not big if you do not include my kids. But I pretty much shop for them the entire month picking up a gift or two here or there. It all gets done. That is the only way I survive the holiday season. LOL I haven't failed yet.
I managed a little stitching last night but not enough for a picture. Hopefully I will get some stitching in tonight and then again on Sunday. I am so close to the finish on Rose. I can't wait because I will be kitting up something new and that will be a new start for a new year. Til the end of the year, I will probably go back to Coffee.
I hope you all have an enjoyable weekend!! I plan on it!!

Our weather here turned unusually chilly for us (freezing before December 1???? Unheard of in Texas - at least THIS part of Texas!), so I'm in a baking mood! Hope you get tons done!
I am in Texas and the pary I am in, we usually have a freeze or two before December 1st, but we have already had snow! That is just crazy how the weather has been!
That weather was just too weird. Wish I had taken advantage of it and decorated outside. Now it's freezing and there is nothing up! It's too early anyway since I like to leave things up until the 5th of January.
Hope your cookies turned out well. : )
