Getting There

I didn't get to stitch much the past two days but I did manage to get to the bottom of the design on the left side. I also did a little more filling in near the stem. Hopefully tonight I will get to relax and stitch. I just got home about 1/2 hour ago from dropping DS off at one of the high schools he is considering next year. I got so emotional after I dropped him off. Here I was in a line of cars just dropping him off. The last time he went to school for the first time, I was holding his hand. When the heck did he get so big? I swear I am the same age and haven't changed a bit. LOL Anyway, I am counting down the hours til I can go get him to see how his day was. That won't be til 2:00 this afternoon. I have a feeling I am going to have a tough time come next September. This was only Visitation Day and I was emotional. I can only imagine the first day of High School.

I have the usual to do today so I am going to get to it to make my day go faster. I just wanted to post my meager progress on Rose. I am so hoping by the end of the weekend, that I will have more to show you.

Have a great day!

Mia, it is looking fabulous!

Ah yes, those milestones. I am much the same way. I cry at everything. Travis rode the bus HOME from school the other afternoon and I cried when I wasn't picking him up at 3:15. Cried.

Unfortunately, so did he.

The Rose is just looking so wonderful and you are doing fantastic!!!

I do not even want to think about high school yet and I can totally understand why you are emotional. They grow up so very fast! Just hang in there!!

Mia, thanks so much for your comforting words regarding the loss of our grandson. They really did and do help. :)

We don't have a Kohl's in my part of the country, but I see their tv ads all the time and would love to find one!

I so relate to your feelings about your kids. Now that I've been through the graduations, college, etc. of several kids I'm kinda accepting the fact that they're all growing up, or have already done so,lol!
