Happy New Year
I hope everyone had a wonderful start to the New Year. Other than a cold I caught, New Year's came in good way.
Yesterday we spent the day taking down the Christmas tree and the lights outside. The tree was practically falling apart and I am glad it lasted as long as it did. DH thinks it was cut in early November and that is why it did not stay fresh. I think we will have needles around the house til July. :)
I caught a cold at the end of last week and I am now at the point where I am coughing through the night. Sigh... I am so tired today but am grateful that I have no further plans to be anywhere.
We are expecting rain later today so I plan on finishing up some laundry, getting the kids schoolbags ready for tomorrow and then sitting in my chair with my stitching. Today is dragon day. Yesterday was too but as I wasn't feeling up to par, I didn't even want to look at black evenweave. I am hoping to have a good stitching session this afternoon and then again this evening to make up for it.
Have a great day everyone!!
I hope 2006 is all that you want it to be and I wish you tons of happiness, health, wealth and fun for the coming year!!

Hey, if you get some rain, could you send some our way? It has been soooooo very long since we've had any and the fires are quite scary around here!
Happy New Year, Mia! I hope you feel better soon.
