As Promised...
I finally took some pictures of my projects and they are posted below. I have spent the better part of an hour trying to get Blogger to cooperate. It didn't and neither did Photobucket. But Hello did the job and for that I am happy.
I woke up today knowing that other than some small things for DS and the gift cards that I am done shopping. Thank goodness because I really need to concentrate on the house. It is mess right now. So far this morning, I have straightened a bit and after I send this, I will do a load of laundry and more straightening. I also need to run out and get something for dinner. I need to food shop this week. I just haven't had the time and I have been making mini runs every couple of days. I hate doing that.
It is going to be a busy day here once I get the kids from school. DS has band practice after school and then he needs to come home, do homework, eat and get back to school to go to the local news station for the filming of the Sunday Mass. Cathy, this is the Mass they televise on WPVI-Channel 6. It will air on January 8 at 5:30 AM. Yikes!!! I will be up early that Sunday morning to watch the Mass. Well, actually just to see my son. LOL A good neighbor who has DVR will tape it for me. I just need to remind her before she goes to bed the night before. When all is said and done, DS will be home shortly before 10 PM.
This week is also going to be busy as we have the Christmas Show at Church on Thursday. Again DS will be part of the choir and all of the children grades 1-8 have parts whether it be part of the Nativity or singing. Last year it was beautiful and I am looking forward to it again even though it means I will be in a packed Church. Last year I think DH and I sat in the last pew of one of the side aisles. But it is a beautiful night at Church and I am looking forward to it once again.
Besides the school stuff, I plan to have all decorations out and gifts wrapped and cards done by the weekend. I also need to finish the rest of my baking. It is very doable now that the shopping stuff is out of the way. I don't have many cards to write so that should be about an hour or so of my time. The decorations are probably tonight and tomorrow night and that is that. The gifts I will do in between just to get them out of my dining room area. So it seems like things are winding down. It is very busy here but I am enjoying it. I just keep trying to keep things in perspective. I KNOW they will get done. They just may not get done according to my best laid plans. I am trying not to stress about it but I have to admit that I have moments each day when I think it won't get finished in time. I want to enjoy the reason for the season. I try not to fall in that commercialized category and I try to teach the kids the same.
I best be getting along. Today is going to be a long one. Have a great day everyone and try not to stress and enjoy the season!

You are one busy girl - I'm right there with ya!
Your Christmas projects look great - I'll keep fingers crossed we see 12 days before Christmas :)
Don't worry about DS - he's obviously a great kid in other ways!
... as for snow - it's hot and humid here, I'd wouldn't mind some of that cool breeze blown over here ...
