New Project
New Tote/Travel Project
As promised, here is my new project. I had all the DMC and the fabric for it and kitted it up last night. I even managed to stitch for maybe 15 minutes and almost finished the words in the middle. I think this will be a fun quick stitch and I plan on backstitching each motif as I go so that way it is done.
I am amazing myself that I have pretty much stuck to my schedule. I am finishing up laundry today and as soon as I send this, I will dust my dining room and living room and vacuum the floors. If I feel like it, I may even swiffer the floors to get a sweet smell through the house.
It is hazy, hot and humid here today. We already have a heat index advisory. But I am cool and chillin in the air conditioned house. I don't need to go out til I have to get the kids and that is not for awhile yet.
DS is on day 2 of exams and DD starts today. I had a little bit of butterflies in my stomach this morning as I watched them walk through the doors of the school. I get this way every year. They both studied hard last night and I am sure they will do well. As of this afternoon, we can put those subjects behind us for the summer. I know they are so looking forward to Friday when it is all over. Me too!!!
Tomorrow I plan on the dreaded food shop. I don't know why I dread it so much. I guess it is because it takes up such a chunk of my day with the shopping, bagging, loading the car, unloading the car, putting away and so on. But if all goes well, I should be good for a couple weeks with the exception of the usual bread, milk, etc.
Well I best get off this box so I can stick to my schedule. I would love to have a few less household chores to do between now and Friday.
Have a great day everyone!!

What a fun project! Post when it is finished!
I know the time thing is why I loathe food shopping. I fixed my links, by the way. You were there in my template all along, but there was a bit of a formatting issue.
Hi Mia, I'm surprised most of the times by how many cross stitch designs there are. I love this design, though my husband isn't that toolminded. But it's simple and will have a great effect.
good luck for the children and you can really count down now.
sorry that was me. I apparently didn't fill in my name.
bye
