Rainy Day Saturday

I normally don't like rainy Saturdays (or Sundays for that matter), but today is different. This meant that I had to slow down today and just chill out at home. We have been on the go for months now and it seems like there is no end in sight. But since my housework is up to date, I am managing to get caught up in laundry and in between loads, I am stitching. What a great stress reliever and way to unwind on an otherwise rainy Saturday. And it is raining. We are getting the remnants of Ivan and I am not complaining about the amount of rain. I know others have it much worse and they are in my prayers.

So I am having a pretty much guilt-free Saturday. Last night, I got to AC Moore and got floss for my new Coffee Design that I will be starting after the Dragon, floss for the coffee cups in Stoney Creek Magazine this year, and the floss for Dragon Dreams freebie, Coffee is Magic. I am on a cloud today. This morning I finished kitting up these designs and they are ready when I am. Apple That is what kinda started me on the stitching frenzy today. I want to finish up the rest of the rotation of the dragon so that I can start my new one. So for the rest of today and probably tomorrow, I plan on stitching and laundry. My kind of weekend. Smile

I am also getting the urge to buy a few more charts, but I have to stop myself til after I get back from CATS. I spent way too much this summer and realized I was going through my saved stash money for CATS. So now I am slowly putting it back so that I can have a good time in October. But if the urge is still there, I will be purchasing a few more charts from Mystic Stitch. I like their charts but then again I LOVE big projects. Heart Beat

So not much else to blog about other than I am stitching and chillin' for the rest of the day. Ice Cream 2
