Stitching Stuff

I just had a chuckle at the title of my post. Since my kids were old enough to talk and understand, they knew not to touch mom's stitching stuff. LOL It's a great memory especially since DS at the age of 2 highlighted my chart and linen on "My Lady's Garden" by Mirabilia. It is hanging on the wall and I can still see a faint line though most of the purple highlighter was covered in stitches. :)

Anyway, as promised here is my stitching post I promised yesterday. First off, thank you so much for the kind comments on my 12 Days finish. I also thank you for the comments on Coffee.

For those of you who asked, Coffee is a chart by Mystic Stitch . It is from the Artwork of Karen Bates. I used to have a picture of the the artwork on the computer but since we got the new computer, I have yet to get another picture. If you go to the Mystic Stitch site, you can click on Karen Bates name and see the finished piece there. It is really looking like the artwork. I am in love with this piece.

I haven't had a chance to pick it up since the weekend but I made great progress last weekend on Coffee. I plan on that again on Saturday and Sunday. I will hopefully have a progress picture to show you either Sunday or Monday.

It has been a busy week. That is why there is no stitching. On Monday there was DD's first day of gymnastics and then Back to School Night for DD. Tuesday was The Who Concert. Yesterday I so had to watch the finale of Rockstar. No way I could stitch. I am so glad Lukas won!!! Looks like me and DD will have white streaks in our hair for the concert. Tonight DD had gymnastics again (Thursday is now her regular weekly lesson) and Back to School Night for DS. I should still be at school, but I know two of the teachers from last year and figured I rather be home. I have had too much going on this week and I have had enough and am ready for the weekend.

Have a great evening everyone!!
