TGIF

Good Morning Everyone!! It is another gorgeous day in the neighborhood and hopefully it will stay that way for the weekend.

Yesterday I had some errands to run and decided to run to AC Moore as they had floss on sale at 5 for $1.00. I picked out the floss for Tesori D'Italia as I won't be needing too much. I must have spent 1/2 hour staring at the bins to find the "perfect" red and green to go with the design. I decided on DMC 321 and DMC 909 as my red and green. I forget the blue for the little waves in the middle but I am thinking it is 517 or 518. I then added a metallic for good measure as when I start stitching I might want to add some gold to some of the churches and such that are depicted in the design. I ordered my fabric but haven't received it. I just laid it out on the piece I had at home but it is 28 ct. antique white cashel linen. I am anxious to start and am so hoping that my fabric arrives in the next day or so.

Our weekend is a little busy but I am hoping that on Sunday I won't have too much laundry and such to do and can start Tesori if my fabric arrives.

My kids have half day today because of a faculty meeting. I am sure they will enjoy the day as it is going to hit 80 again today. I have a couple of errands to run and I have to change sheets on the kids' beds. So all in all, it is not a busy housework kind of day that I normally seem to have on a Friday. It just seems it is neverending in the housework department. I am always picking something up or pulling out the vacuum or broom. Some days I wish I could wave a magic wand and have it all done.

I managed more on California Wine but didn't take a picture. I figure when I need to move my q-snaps I will take a photo. I am now working on the little men and grapes in the left middle of the design. Hopefully I will get lots done tonight and Sunday (if I don't start Tesori) and will have a photo to show you on Monday.

I better get my morning started because noon will be here before I know it and I want to have fun with the kids this afternoon.
