This and That

Good Morning All!!!

Today is pretty much the same as yesterday in our household. I am doing the same old boring housework stuff. At least the day is gorgeous and it motivates me to get things done. It is either that or the thought that summer is around the corner and I don't wanna do it then. LOL

I am making great progress on California Wine Sampler. I may just have to take a picture of it tomorrow depending on tonight's progress.

Our family room is now ready for the tile portion. YEAH US!!!! DH dug up the old ick tile in the area that will be desk, bar, kid area right up to the laundry room door. He finished it yesterday and said if he gets home early enough today, he will buy the tile and either start today or start tomorrow. YEAH!!! Once that is done, we can order the carpet and then get back down here. Of course, he still has to make the desk, bar, kid area and do the countertop for it, but he can do that with us living down here again. At least I still have my desk and it can be moved to the tile area once it is finished. It is a nice feeling to know that my living room will become my living room again (kid free and always clean) and we can relax and enjoy the family room which is right next to the patio and with warmer days and nights, it is a great feeling. :) Oh and he has to tile around the fireplace but I don't know if he is doing that now or later. He never told me that timeline.

I better get moving. I have a load of clothes to hang out and I want them dry by dinner time.
