It's That Time of Year

Yes, folks, that time of year is here. The one that I dread starting but love the finished result. In case you haven't guessed yet, it is Spring Cleaning Time!!! So why am I sitting here? Well, I need some motivation and I figure if I do something I like, I will start tackling with a vengence. LOL

I decided to start in DS's room as it is worse than a pig sty. I also want to get his brand new summer clothes out of my room and into his drawers and stuff. I have a feeling I will get the majority done today and will finish tomorrow. I don't know but I do know when I walked in there a little while ago, I wanted to run through the streets screaming. It is that bad. He tries but he keeps every little thing. So without his knowledge, every little thing is now going. He won't miss it. At least I hope not.

I looked at the calendar and this time next month, weather permitting, the pool club will be open. I don't want to have to deal with Spring Cleaning then. I figure if I get it done now and do some Fly Lady stuff, I can have a relatively clean house all summer. I have to. With the remodel, I just haven't been able to keep on top of it. Now that the remodel is coming to a close, I can tackle the dust bunnies that have reproduced. I also like the sweet smell of clean.

I still haven't figured out the picture thing on my computer. Chances are, I will reinstall the software that came with my Kodak camera. DH hasn't had a chance to play around with it and I am giving him a couple days to see if he can figure it out. I hate not having pictures to show you but just think, you will have tons to see once it is all sorted out.

I have about another hour of stitching on Happy Hour. That includes attaching the charms. I am so excited. That will make two finishes in a month. How cool is that? I haven't done something like that in a couple of years. It is a good feeling.

Now I better go start tackling that dump, err DS's room.
Have a great day everyone!

Mia, I sympathize with you having had to do the same thing a few weeks ago. It's so great when the job is done tho! :D
p.s. I had to bug my 15yos to dig around his mattress and pull out all the dirty socks he's smashed in there. I just don't understand why it's so difficult to throw those things in the laundry, lol!
