Stitchers are Special
Stitchers are special but then we all know that, don't we? Today on an otherwise dreary day in PA, I spent a wonderful few hours in the company of wonderful people who are stitchers. Today I had lunch with Jo and her DH, Cathy and her DH, my stitchy sis in law and my DD. We met for lunch in my area because Jo was up this way because she has a class tomorrow with Merry Cox. Cathy is spending the weekend in this area visiting with family and friends. I really felt bad at one point for the DHs and my DD. LOL But it passed quickly. We had good food, lots of laughs and lots of show and tell. I had hardly any but let me tell you, Jo and Cathy really stitch beautifully. The pictures in their blogs do absolutely no justice to what you see in person. Girls, your work is just gorgeous and I am so in awe of both of you. Thank you for an enjoyable afternoon!!
I met both Jo and Cathy in the blogging world. Jo and I started blogging around the same time. I met Cathy early last year. When I met them today for the first time in person, it was like we were always friends. How cool is that? I never at any time felt uncomfortable and I am looking forward to meeting with them again. That will happen this fall in Hershey at CATS. I am so looking forward to it and I can't wait to make reservations for me and my sis in law for this year. Last year, I was unable to attend, but this year I will definitely be there with list in hand for all I want to buy.
Cathy is my witness to my computer conditions. LOL The redo in our family room is getting there. I now have windows in, drywall up and primered and ready for paint some time next week. It is looking better down here and I can so see the light at the end of the tunnel.
I have been stitching more because I am not spending as much time on the computer. I miss it but it is really sad down here because the only light I have is coming from the landing and the computer. LOL I also realized I type really noisy. No wonder my family complains when I have to work when they watch t.v. All you hear is the clicking of the keys. LOL
I am hoping to get back online more regularly in the next week or so. I kind of lost my daily routine and once I have my spring cleaning done and Easter stuff done, I will be able to get on here more regularly like I used to. Hopefully I will post some more during the week and I really do have pictures to show you. Unfortunately, the camera is nowhere to be found these days. Sheesh...I would lose my head if it wasn't screwed on. :)
Have a great rest of the weekend everyone!!!

Glad to hear your remodeling project is moving along!
Great to see some fellow bloggers IRL! And you not spending so much time at the computer means we'll so much more stitched projects... lol
good luck with all that you have to do!
Hey, that is awesome-are you anywhere near Philly? I'm going to try to get to Hershey this year myself. I always seem to miss it.
