My Thoughts on Life and Family and Where Every Stitch is a hope, a dream, a smile, a prayer, a good thought.

TGIF - FINALLY!!!

I thought of a few titles for my post and figured it wasn't all that good of a week but then again it wasn't all that bad.

Just to recap...the good
- it was a short week
- enjoyed lots of stitching time
- enjoyed watching the Olympics and learned about curling :)
- started Spring cleaning over a month early (those closets don't clean themselves, ya know?)
- my brand new Pella Windows for the family room are sitting here and looking pretty. I sure wish they were in the wall where they are supposed to be.
- this goes without saying...I have the best DH and kids always :)

Now the bad...
- my mojo, karma, feng shui is out the window. I still have that out of sorts feeling but with the spring cleaning, it is getting a little better and I feel a little more with it the past couple days.
- DS was home from school Tuesday with the cold he caught over the weekend
- DD has been home yesterday and today with fever, cold, etc. Not good because my poor baby rarely gets sick and when she does, look out!! She is not happy about staying home from school for two days.
- DH keeps changing the layout plan for the family room. Just. Get. It. Started. And. Done. Already. My sanity is at stake.

I guess all in all after looking at what I wrote, it was a pretty decent week with its normal and not so normal ups and downs. I am looking forward to the weekend. I have been trying to get to Kohl's for a couple days and will get there tomorrow afternoon/evening. I also want to take a trip to the mall but that can wait til Sunday if need be. DD got a certificate from Build-a-Bear for a FREE bear and you can rest assured we will be taking advantage of that deal. Those things aren't cheap when you have to not only get the thing stuffed but have to buy it clothes so it isn't "naked" when we walk around the mall. LOL

Today I am in my bedroom and DD's room cleaning, spraying Lysol and changing the bedding. I did DS's room yesterday and it looks so shiny compared to mine and DDs. But I am off to a good start. Half my bedding is being washed and dried as I type. After I send this, I will spend the better portion of the day cleaning, disposing and disinfecting bedrooms. Cleaning really is helping me feel a little more organized and less jumbled these days. And I look at it this way. If I dejunk now, I won't have to worry about it come late March, April or May. I just need to keep on top of it now so it isn't junked up by late March, April or May.

I am almost half way finished my next page in Coffee. I barely stitched the past couple nights because of DD but tonight should be different. I am hoping it will be different. DD is not awake yet and I will have to see how she is doing today before I make a stitching call. I will try to post another progress picture later this weekend if all goes well.

Well I guess that is about it from here. I hope you all have a great weekend and thanks for all your great comments. I love them all!!

Wow, you have been busy this week with sick kids and all! Hope the room comes together soon (windows ALWAYS look better when they are actually IN the wall).
