Melting Some More...

Today is just downright oppressive outside. At 7 AM this morning, it was already hot and humid. Not a good day to be outside, let me tell you. Yesterday the kids spent the day at the pool so today I plan on not going to the pool. Even the pool water was hot. What kind of relief is that!!! Anyway, enough about the weather. Let's just say, I am grateful for central air conditioning.

I still need to take scans of my latest progress. I really haven't been working in my rotation and for the past two days, I have been working just on Fire Dragon. I just haven't had the time to sit and relax. It seems like some one is always dropping over or the kids are in and out and just when I pick the needle and thread up, someone else is calling my name.

Today I need to do laundry and an errand or two. I plan on stitching between loads and maybe I will accomplish something. I doubt I will be stitching tonight because my neighbor is having a scrapbooking demonstration. I am going to be really honest here...I have never scrapbooked so this demonstration should be interesting. I always wanted to dabble in it, but never ventured out. Hopefully I won't venture too far tonight. I don't need another obsession cutting in with my cross stitch. LOL Supposedly, we are going to make a page and I need to come up with photos later today to bring with me. If it comes out okay, I will let you all see it.

I guess that is about it from here today. I hope everyone stays cool and I hope you all have a great day!!

Ooh, I can't wait to hear what you think about scrapbooking! I LOVE to scrapbook - it is a wonderful (and sometimes can be pricey) way to preserve photos...there are shortcuts, though! The albums are where I spend my $$$.
