Monday Mumblings
The weekend ended up being quiet and low keyed. YES!!
Saturday night we went out to dinner at the mall and I managed to get my DD her veil/headpiece for her Communion along with a beautiful white sweater for her to wear that day. It was a nice night and then I came home to stitch while the kids played and DH snoozed on the sofa.
Yesterday it was rainy here for the first day of Spring so the kids and I sort of vegetated all day. I managed lots of stitching and will post a picture after I send this. Last night we went to Target because they had lots on sale that we needed. Of course, we spent more than we anticipated but at least I had lots to show for it.
Today I will be busy most of the day. I need to type DD's autobiography and then I need to get to school to do lunch mother for the 2nd grade and then the 5th grade. Then hopefully I will get to run to the grocery store real quick for something for dinner. I need to food shop but I can wait a day or two for that. I need to get the Easter Baskets finished and hidden away before Wednesday afternoon. We also need to finish up DD's project and diorama for said project. Hopefully I will have it typed before I get to school at noon today.
Tonight after finishing up said DD project, I plan on sitting with my stitching. Since I did lots over the weekend, it gave me real motivation to get even more finished. I love when that happens.
Have a great day everyone!!

Hi Mia, it's lovely to see what you're stitching. I get the picture now :-).
It's beautiful! Great that you could stitch so much during the weekend.
What is the tradition with the easter baskets? We don't do much around here with easter. The Duthc think we do a lot when we hide eggs or have a real breakfast.
But we have church very early and the clock will set back 1 hour in the night before (summertime), so we have church very very early. (7.30 am)
good luck with all you have to do
