TGIF

This week seemed long to me. I don't know why as nothing out of the ordinary happened to make it that way. Bottom line is I am happy to see it is Friday.

The tree cutters (landscapers) are here. Our friend Dominic showed up a little after 7 AM. Thank goodness I am up that early and thank goodness he has seen me in my jammies before LOL. (Our families have gone on numerous vacations together) Anyway, the tree climber is in the largest of the trees making me nervous so this entry will probably be short because I am right next to the patio door looking into the yard. Our yard is so huge now. Unbelievable. Hopefully by the end of today the last tree will be gone as will all the branches and stumps and logs in our yard. Then DH has a job of getting all the wood chips and sawdust outta here.

For today, I plan on mopping the floor (keeps me away from the back of the house and windows) and getting dinner started early. Then I will go start getting stuff for bunny baskets for my kids. I haven't bought one piece of candy to date and it is not like me. I think it is because I don't go by the CVS like I used to. So I figure that is a good thing to do today as the baskets need to be put together before my kids get out for Easter Break on Wednesday.

DD has to finish her autobiography this weekend and then her and DH have to do a diorama on one event in her life. This project is due on Wednesday. I think it is too much for a 7 year old and since he gave out the assignment she has worked every day on it. There is still a lot to do.

I am almost finished re-crocheting Square #5 and it is looking awesome. I should have it finished today.

I made good progress last night on Coffee. I made a teeny mistake and will make the decision today to see if I need to frog it. It is only a matter of like 3-4 stitches but it is in the steamy-swirly area coming up from the cups and if the color is darker, I need to frog. If not, I will leave it be. Last night when I realized it, I wasn't in the mood at that moment to frog or check it out.

Hopefully the weekend will be relaxing. I do have to go to my parents to do more cleaning out and packing up of the stuff I am taking with me. I will go to Palm Sunday Mass on Saturday. The rest of the weekend is up for grabs which is a-okay by me.

Either tonight or tomorrow I should be posting some progress pictures of my crochet and Coffee project.
Have a great weekend everyone!!!!
Flowers Flowers Flowers Flowers I can't wait for Spring!!!!

You are moving along so nicely with the CAL, hopefully I'll be able to join soon :) I will be getting the yarn on Apr 2nd, so it's just two weeks to wait :)

Sorry to hear about your DD's homework. It sounds that the teacher is really not very realistic about the abilities of 7yos. I hope it'll go smooth.

Your progress on Coffee sounds really good, hopefully you won't have to frog :)
