Saturday Slowdown

It is shaping up to be a pretty cool Saturday around here. DH took my van to work today so that means I don't have to worry about running around anywhere. I wasn't in the mood anyway and I really don't need the car til I have to go to Mass tonight so I won't have any excuses to get stuff done here today.

I am hoping for a low keyed type weekend but I don't dare say anything out loud because then it normally ends up very busy and we end up running around from morning til night.

DD has to finish her project so I can type it. We were going to work on it last night but she looked absolutely wiped out and just wanted to veg in front of the t.v. I felt the same way.

I did not have to frog on Coffee. The 3-4 stitches that I made a mistake with were maybe one shade different than the one I used. I did that area last night and you can't even tell the difference. I love mistakes like that where no one (even me) will be able to tell the difference.

I finished Square #5 the Front/Back Loop HDC yesterday. I am not too happy with the entire border but I am figuring once it is all put together it will look better. I will post progress pictures some time between now and tomorrow.

DD has picked up her stitching and it is looking great. I will also post her progress picture. I will also help her get started with the next area. I love the "Bang on the Door" designs as she can outline in black and then go back and fill in with color without constantly looking at the chart.

It is a beautiful day here and I am sure the temperatures will get even better today. The tree cutting is finished and all that is left is getting rid of the piles of wood chips from when the machine chopped up the stumps and roots. I am just happy I don't have to hear the machinery and see the tree climber way up high in an old tree.
