Crochet Happy Dance

Square #1-Single Crochet Posted by Hello
While waiting for the kids today, I managed to finish my very first afghan square. It was a little tricky with the edging, but I think it came out great. I did manage to have 25 or 27 single crochets where needed so I guess I did it the way it is supposed to be done.

This is the variegated I got and the red you see in there is my 2nd color and the warm brownish-tan on the border is my 3rd color and finishing color.

Now on to square #2. I may just have more than 1 complete square this week!! Anneke, I posted a picture of the leaflet underneath this entry and underneath that is my daily blog entry.

Mia, your square looks absolutely wonderful, I love the colours. I like autumnal colours so much.

If the leaflet is not too expensive and if it's not a problem, could you get a copy for me? I can get yarn later on (I have b-day in April), because I am more and more enabled as far as this afhgan is concerned LOL. I have never seen such a nice piece and I need a new afghan anyway LOL. I will try to transefr you the money via Paypal as soon as possible , hopefully it won't be acting out that bad again as it was around X-mas. Thanks so much for offering!! You're so kind!
