Busy Bee

I have about a 100 things to do and need to get it done before Saturday, so why am I here? I am the world's biggest procrastinator. Well, I have done some stuff in prep for us having company on Saturday night but I still have much more to do. Last night I ran to Target to finally get curtains for my DS's room and a curtain for our dining room door. This morning it took over an hour to hang said curtain on dining room door. Why? you may ask. Well it is one of those balloon type thingees and it has these hook circle things and it just wasn't sitting right and the perfectionist I am, I kept taking it down and putting it back up. Well I "think" it looks okay. I don't know and I don't care at this point. DH can help when he comes home if he doesn't like it. LOL

After battling with the curtains, I went upstairs to shower and straighten up. Well I did that much too. I just need to dust and will do that in a minute or two. In the meantime, the phone keeps ringing and it is nonsense stuff on the phone with the calls today. Oh well, it could be worse. It could be telemarketers. LOL Anyhoo, for the rest of the day, I need to dust the bedrooms, hang DS's curtains and make dinner and do homework with the kids. That is doable and hopefully it will get finished before dinner time.

Then tomorrow I need to hit the grocery store early and get stuff to prepare for Saturday night. I also need to clean the bathroom and make sure that everything else stays neat and clean for Saturday.

I can't wait to see my old neighbors. I miss them so terribly and when I called last night, they were ready to be here too. My kids are excited and so is DH. It will be so nice to be with those familiar faces that I loved for 17 years (and still do).

Tonight I plan on stitching a bit while watching t.v. I am making good headway in those four remaining gridblocks on Coffee. It is just a pain that I have one stitch one color, two stitches another and so on. But it is looking great and I am hoping to get back to Fire Dragon soon.
