Two More Days.....

TIL CATS!!!!!!!! Oh I am so excited and I still have the energy I had yesterday. Go figure. I really thought I would fizzle last night but the momentum is still there and with any luck, I will have the rest of my household stuff done by dinner tonight.

Last night I put together my table top OTT Light and I love it. I even got the one with the attached magnifyer. Very nice and it was a great deal too because I used a 40% off coupon at AC Moore. I just love when I get a bargain. So that is all ready to go in my bag for Friday. The lighting at the Lodge is not the greatest and we (my sis in law, niece and myself) decided to each buy and bring a table top OTT with us to stitch into the night on Friday.

Lots is going on in our household and I hope some of it is resolved before Friday when I leave. DH is already a mess. DD has a very, and I mean very, loose front tooth that we have been waiting for to come out for about a month now. Well it is about ready and all it needs is one good twist but she won't do it. I am hoping that it comes out tonight. Yes it is that loose. DH is beside himself if it comes out on Friday. Of course it will. That is the way things work around here but I am not telling DH.

DS is still nervous but made it through the first day of the Terra Nova testing. He is also having some issues with his teacher but I don't have the whole story. I tried writing a note to the teacher but it sounded so harsh when I read my words. I am going to try to see her tomorrow. I tried today but as it is raining here, the kids went right into school and we (parents) have to leave them at the door in the morning. I am probably worrying over nothing but she told DS he wasn't getting graded on something he did for science. It was on time but she wanted it typed. So he typed it Friday when he got home. He handed it on Monday and it was wrong. He redid it Monday evening and handed it in yesterday. At that point she said he was not getting a grade. What is up with that? I feel DS is not telling me something but then again, he may really have misunderstood her and doesn't really know what he had to do. The real kicker here is that the original copy that he handwrote on loose leaf was neat and done properly. I really am frustrated but I am trying my hardest not to show it to DS. All I have to say is "When's Summer?" Hopefully this will be resolved before Friday. I don't want this hanging over MY head.

Okay, the mini rant is off. Right now, I need to return video games and get some household stuff done. Hopefully today at school is better for DS and with any luck DD's tooth will come out TONIGHT!!!
