Off to a Good Start

It's Tuesday and so far the week has been good. DH likes his new job and that is going well. DS remembered all books and assignments yesterday. DD is starting the Accelerated Reading program at school Today and I have a few things I want to accomplish not only today but for the week. It helps to write them down but I don't know what happened last week. Everything spun out of control but it seems since the weekend, things are calmer here. I hope they stay this way.

So even though it is a day late, here is what I want to accomplish this week:

On the home front:
All housework and laundry before the weekend. It has really piled up.
Finish some paperwork that is lingering.

For Me:
Finish up this rotation on Coffee. I have 4 of the 10 blocks finished.
Spend more quality time with the kids in the evening. We have been doing this since we had a long weekend and I forgot how much fun it is. This week we have been playing video games. They love that they are better than me. LOL
Don't sweat the small stuff.

With any luck, I will scan a pic of my progress on Coffee in the next day or two. I have barely put in any stitches in the past week and am hoping that I can do so this evening. Chances are even if I finish this rotation, the Coffee design will come with me to CATS. I can't believe I go in a week and a half. I am so excited. My sis in law who is going with me, bought this really cool tapestry tote bag at AC Moore on Sunday. Well when I saw it, I went and bought one too. It is large enough to hold my project and probably even my brand new table size OTT Light. Yes, I bought that too at AC Moore. The lighting at the Lodge is not good enough and when we go back to our rooms, it will be nice to stitch together and not strain our eyes as we have in previous years.

On the car project front, I am doing the backstitch on the project I am doing for DD. I figure another week in the car and that will be it. This will probably go to CATS with me too if it is close to being finished. I sure hope so. I want to add something else for a car project like an ornament. I saw some cute ones in the new JCS ornie issue.

Well I better be off, if I want to accomplish anything today.
