Sunday Brunch-Furniture

Ohhhh, really cool question, Erica. DH and I were just discussing the ideas for our redo on our family room this morning. So I am ready for this one!!!

1) What size is your bed? Queen Size

2) Do you prefer fabric sofas or leather sofas? What do you have?
I prefer fabric. We had leather years ago and to me it just seems a little cold as opposed to a big comfy oversized fabric sofa. We now have fabric sofas in the living room and family room.

3) What wood stain color is your favorite? (Pine, walnut, cherry, etc.)
My taste tend to change. Years ago, I loved any kind of light wood. Now, I just love cherry and mahogany. Our new desk in the family room is cherry and we are planning on cherry-stained counter tops in our family room.

4) What piece of furniture is at the top of your wish list right now?
Well I would have to say dining room set as we don't have one right now. When we moved, we got rid of the old one we had which was a hand me down and just falling apart. For now, my dining room is empty but will be filled very soon. :))

5) Do you have a piece of furniture in your home that doesn't seem tofit but that you can't bear to part with?
When I first read this, I didn't think I had a piece of furniture that doesn't seem to fit but after further thought, I came up with it. When I was preg. with my DS, my sis in laws bought me one of those gliders for the nursery. They were new and a great alternative to a rocker. Mine is white with a pastel print on the cushions. It was in our bedroom for the past couple years and our furniture is black with brass trim. Now it is in DD's room and her furniture is a light maple/oak (I don't remember which). But it fits with her decor and now seats her rag dolls, teddies and various other animals. :)))
