Weekly Progress Pictures
I took some pictures this morning while I had a few moments. California Wine Sampler is now my travel/small project. I think I made some good progress this week. I managed the rest of the grapes and most of the little man on the left. I am hoping by tomorrow afternoon that the man is finished and I am back to the alphabet letters. I am really enjoying stitching this and love the effect of the overdyeds. It is nice doing that after working with the color red in the evenings. And now, presenting Tesori D'Italia.
I am really enjoying this too. It goes quickly because of the one color of thread. My allergies have been bothering me so I didn't stitch last night but in less than a week, I have made great progress. My goal is to finish this region "Calabria" by the weekend and then spend a couple of nights on California Wine Sampler before I start the next region.
Not much going on around here which is a good thing. Tomorrow we are going to buy the rest of our flowers and have them planted by Mother's Day. We do this every year. Sometimes we do it a little earlier but DH has been working late most evenings and we haven't had a chance to get to the produce store to buy the flowers.
On the agenda for today is my normal everyday stuff. I am trying to get everything done today so that I can enjoy the weekend. It is Mother's Day and I really don't want to be doing housework over the weekend. I don't mind some laundry but I really do not want to be cleaning anything. I rather enjoy the weekend with my DH and my kids.
Enjoy your day!!

Wow, Mia, those look great! I have GOT to get back into stitching again!
Awesome work Mia! I really have to start my Wine Sampler soon. I think your Italian piece is going to grow a lot faster than you think - no confetti stitches!
Oh, and most importantly...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
(I hope I got the right day?)
and belated Happy Anniversary to you and DH.
These are really coming along beautifully! I hope you have a relaxing weekend. I know the feeling of not wanting to have to clean on Mothers Day!
You made great stitching progress this week, Mia!
I'm sure your family made sure you had a wonderful Mother's Day.
