Heirloom Started
Now don't get all excited. Yes I started Tesori D'Italia but I am talking just a few stitches. LOL My fabric arrived on Saturday and yesterday my sister in law serged the edges for me. This thing is going to be HUGE. You should see my fabric. It is one thing to see the measurements on paper. It is a whole other thing to see the actual piece of fabric. Last night I had a few moments and marked my place and put it in the q-snaps. I am starting this from the upper right corner (I stitch first \ and then / ). I then tried a few stitches so I know the placement for when I settle in to stitch tonight. I think I am really going to enjoy this. I will post a progress picture some time this week when it looks like something other than a few red x's. :)
It was a busy weekend around here. That is why stitching was basically nowhere to be found. We had a wedding to attend on Saturday evening. It was fun because my sister in laws and lots of our friends were there.
I spent yesterday watching our friend's daughter. She is almost 2 and needs to be supervised pretty much all the time. You see, my house is no longer child proof. If I was still living in my old house, the child proof stuff would still be there. I childproofed 13 years ago and never removed anything. LOL But since we moved when my kids were 11 and 7, I didn't see the need. So when our friends with little ones come over, I watch like a hawk so to speak. I don't want anyone hurt nor do I want to lose something I value. So I was basically stressed out til I put her down for a nap.
Not much else going on around here. Pretty much the usual. I won't bother giving you the boring details. But let's just say, I am glad it is boring. :)
Have a good day everyone!

Boring can be good!!
My house isn't as childproof as it used to be and with my youngest grandson crawling around, must also watch him carefully. Not much gets done when the grandsons are here, lol!
Unfortunately, I never childproofed with Travis, so now that Tyler's here (and it is a new house), I haven't done anything other than put rubber bands on all the cabinet doors to keep him from opening them! You are a doll for watching her like that!
