Hump Day

Wednesday already!!! Sheesh!!! But it is shaping up to be a pretty decent day.

Yesterday we were at the pool for over 7 hours. It was a great pool day and even DH came and we had dinner there. The kids have come so far this summer in swimming and diving and such. They loved that we stayed at the pool so long. I enjoyed it too. But when we got home, I was about ready for bed. LOL I also told them that I wasn't even attempting a pool day today since we stayed so long yesterday. They were both fine with that. DS is sitting playing a video game right now and DD is still snoozing away.

After a shower last night to get off the sunscreen, I settled in and stitched for one hour on the dragon and then the rest of the night on Coffee. I am so happy to report that I am over a hurdle with this section of Coffee. I finished the 4 coffee beans. Those things are so beautiful but they are a bear to stitch with all the different colors. At 11 PM, I put in the final stitch of bean number 4. After I do a small portion of this tan border under the pink, it should be smooth sailing with the blues. Of course, I still have more coffee beans on this page but I haven't even started them yet.

Today my plan is to do laundry and a quickie grocery run. My friend K is away with her mom and DD and her DH is home alone. I told him to come over for dinner tonight. He graciously accepted. He likes my cooking. LOL He always tells me and I knew I would be doing my friend K a favor by having her DH here. She comes home tomorrow and I can't wait to see her and I know my DD can't wait to see her DD.

After my grocery run and during the laundry, I will straighten and stitch. I can see the end of this page on Coffee and figure I will take the momentum I created last night and go with it. It is amazing how you can stitch a section or in my case a coffee bean and create the motivation you need to push forward and get tons done. I hope it stays as I would like to see this page finished before the end of the month.

I guess that is about it from here today. I am pretty much doing my normal ho-hum stuff.

Have a great day everyone!!
