Both projects are pretty big. I think it's very wise to do the rotation. I seem to lay down the bigger ones too and making more little ones instead.
I have a 12-year old too (girl) and besides the growinguppains it's a bless to have a 12-year old. At 12 there's a change of schools, she was a firstgrader again, but they grow up very quick from that. Sometimes I don't like that, but I appreciate the talks with my older daughters.
