Tuesday Thoughts

Good Morning Everyone!! Here I am up early yet again and I love it. I know it is summer vacation and it is not going to last but for now I am glad to get up early. That way I will get all my stuff done so I can enjoy the majority of the day.

Today is another full one. After I send this blog, I plan on mopping the kitchen floor and then taking my shower. After that I will fold the laundry I did yesterday but never go around to folding. If the kitchen floor is dry, I will start dinner and get the kids breakfast if they are up and about. My plan is to have all of this done before 9 AM.

DS has his first math tutoring at 11 AM. I want him dressed in his bathing suit and t-shirt when I take him. I will come home with DD and DNephew and get them ready for the pool. I will also get my pool bag and whatnot ready.

I wasn't even done dinner last night when the phone was ringing and plans were being made to meet at the pool. I love living here. Where I used to live, I didn't join the pool as I didn't have the friends I have here. Where I used to live, no one made plans to meet up. Here it is a natural thing and if my friend R didn't call, I would have called her the minute I was done dinner and doing dishes.

My plan is to stay at the pool til dinner time. I am taking my stitching with me but probably will not even look at it. I am stitching the final tool (the saw). It would have been finished last night but I ended up roaming the neighborhood and stopped at two neighbors' houses in my travels to find my kids. LOL That is also why the laundry wasn't folded.

I still don't know what I will do next. I will probably start one of the Dolly Mama's but I don't want to use the aida. I am so hoping I have something in my stash to switch out the fabric. I realized last night that I am running low on some of my fabrics. If I have a chance, I want to pull out a few projects that will need fabric and place an order somewhere. I should go to my LNS but I don't know when I will have the chance. Reading Jo's blog made me think of my fabrics and I should start thinking of my future projects. Tomorrow may be the day for that as we will not be going to the pool as DS has to get his 12 year well child physical. I know I will get a chance to stitch while waiting at the dr's office so if the tools aren't finished, it will be then. Or something else may be started. That will be a good feeling.

I also need to do grocery shopping. Right now it looks like I will have to make time after dinner. I am not about to go with three kids. If I can have someone watch DD, me and DS can get it done in record time tonight or tomorrow night after his dr. visit. DH is working at his cousin's at night and I can't depend on him being home on any given night this week.

Well I best be moving along if I want to get my stuff done before kids wake up. So far, they are still snoozing away.
