A Very Special WIP

Here is a picture of my DD's very first cross stitch project. She just started about 2 weeks ago and loves it. It is by Brightneedle and it is called "Where is Mary Kirby? Home" She loves stitching and I have to admit that I only made the first stitch of each line. She is doing great following the chart and even threading her needle. She needs help in the finishing off thread department but she will get it. I am very proud of her and will post another picture when she is finished. She is tickled pink that I posted her picture a few minutes ago.

Last night I actually got to stitch for about an hour. I was so happy to be able to do that. I got off to a late start this morning and as soon as I finish the boring household stuff, I plan on spending the afternoon stitching with DD. She is planning on finishing soon and then her plan is to kit up another Mary Kirby and do it on 11 ct. fabric this time.

I may post again tonight if I have something to talk about. I just wanted to show-off what my DD is doing.
