Weekly Updates

Good Morning Everyone!! As hard as I have tried, it has been impossible to get here before the afternoon each day.

In construction news, DH has almost all the panelling down and the room is just about empty with the exception of tools, trash containers and my desk/computer. This wall unit thingie is still here but DH is not quite ready to demolish it. The windows should be coming in toward the end of the month and DH is going to start putting up drywall in the next week or so. It is hard because he does this after his actual job. And forget the weekends. He works them too. So it has been slow going but at least it is going. DH figures once the drywall, fireplace and windows are in, the rest of the room should be smooth sailing. I am not holding my breath. LOL But it is all good.

The weekend was a great one. I enjoyed watching the opening ceremonies and I catch events whenever I can. We got hit with a major snowstorm over the weekend so that slowed things down quite a bit.

I have got lots of stitching done and have set myself a goal for during the Olympics. I really find myself stitching lots during that time. :) I am just about finished this page of the chart. I should be able to finish it up tonight but tonight I will be watching Survivor and then Olympic coverage. I also want to get at least half of the next page finished before the end of the Olympics. Will I do it? I have no idea, but it is fun setting some type of goal for myself. I figure if I do that, I may just reward myself with a mini-stash shopping spree online. :) Great motivation if you ask me.

Not much else going on here for which I am grateful. I rather have it kind of boring and normal. Too boring to write about.

Hopefully I will be able to get on here soon with a picture so show of my progress on Coffee. I know tonight I won't be able to get near here as DS has a project due tomorrow. But hopefully I will get my chance tomorrow or Saturday.
