My Thoughts on Life and Family and Where Every Stitch is a hope, a dream, a smile, a prayer, a good thought.

Sorry for the Inconvenience

I knew it was a matter of time and I held off as long as I could but as of today I put "word verification" on my blog. It seems I was spammed by someone and if one roach gets in that means the whole army is right around the corner. It is so sad that people have to do this. They really must have sorry lives if all they can come up with is spamming a stitching blog. Sigh...

Anyway, again, sorry but I have never minded doing it to your blogs and I hope you feel the same about mine.

In other news, since I last blogged, it has been busy. It seems my kids are getting school projects left and right and DS has been taking a lot of time on the computer for research and stuff. That is why I haven't been around much. I end up getting involved in stitching and by the time it is my "turn", I don't feel like getting online. Maybe that is a good thing as I am spending more time stitching.

I am feeling 100% with the exception of the residual stuff of the cold. At least I am sleeping through the night and kleenex are my friends right now. DS is doing better but now DD has this blasted cold. Her I have to watch because she has a tendency toward bronchitis. So far, so good and this morning she told me she is feeling lots better. So maybe hers is on its way out too.

My rotation is going alright. I have been splitting time between the small project for my friend and my biggie WIPS. I really want the small project done soon. It is getting there. The most difficult part (the basket in the middle) is finished and I am now doing the first border surrounding it. I may have a finish by the end of this week or some time early next week.

I also managed to finish the 9th square of the first row. So now for CAL day, I will be piecing that row together and then putting it away in my cedar chest til the next row is done. If the finishing goes well, I will post a picture of the whole row on Friday.

Other than the colds and school stuff, I am pretty much doing the same old, same old. I have to pretty much do my computer stuff in the morning when the kids are at school. That way, I KNOW I will get my blog entry in or spend some time surfing my favorite bbs and stitching stores.

Have a great day everyone!!!

Mia, don't worry about the word verification - we all understand and most of us have it on our comments too. Glad you had a chance to post today :)

I go back and forth with my WV - I'll turn it off every now and then, and they will leave me alone for a few days, and then they are back in full force - so sometimes I have it, sometimes I don't!

Mia, I totally understand about the WV. It really is no bother to type a few letters, so that you won't get "attacked" again. Glad your feeling better!!

Hugs
