Newsflash!!!

YAHOO!!!! Other than a few small items and gift cards, I am finished with my Christmas shopping. I can't believe it happened. We did end up going shopping tonight and I got everyone off my list and some more things for the kids. One thing for DS is not in stock but we have a rain check in case they don't restock during the week. As much as I love Christmas, I do not like the shopping. Target was so crowded and it was around 6:30 tonight when we got there. I was home shortly before 9 and put the stuff away before DH went to get the kids who were at my neighbors' house. Whew!!! What a relief. Now I can wait til some time next week to go get gift cards from the bank.

The inside decoration of the house is coming along. I didn't do anything today in that regard but I have to admit that I did straighten up a lot and have made room for the next tubs to come out of the attic.

My plan for the upcoming week is to get my Christmas cards out, cookies finished, candy started and the rest of the house decorated. I also want to get my gifts wrapped and will probably do a few a day to make it easy on me. We normally end up getting overwhelmed and doing it last minute. NOT THIS YEAR!!! My shopping is done and I don't have to wait til the last minute. :)

Right now, I am going to enjoy the Survivor finale and stitch. I haven't done that and it looks like I will cut it close in finishing 12 Days. If I don't finish it in time for this Christmas, it will definitely be finished, framed and hung for next Christmas.
