My Thoughts on Life and Family and Where Every Stitch is a hope, a dream, a smile, a prayer, a good thought.

Yawn...

I don't really have anything to blog about today. I am doing the same old, same old. The kids are in school and hopefully doing well. Other than the same old crap I normally do, I have to be lunch mother from 12-1:30 for 2nd grade and then 5th grade. I sure hope it doesn't rain. Last week it did and let me tell you, those 5th graders are brutal. I shouldn't say all as it was 4 boys that were just a pure torture for the rest of the class and me.

I am on the border of my CAL square #41. This should be finished today.

I did stitch last night but I think someone is out to get me. I had dinner dishes done by 6:30. DH and DS went to Home Depot. DD was playing with a neighborhood friend. I decided to plant my butt for the rest of the evening and stitch. For about 1/2 hour all was going well. Then DH and DS came home. Still fine. I got another 1/2 hour in. Then the phone started ringing and the kids starting bickering and I couldn't concentrate. I put it down, told DS to get in the shower and DD in her pjs. Then I gave them their snack and tried to settle down again. Again, the phone rings. By 9:30, I just gave up. I think tonight I will not be answering the phone. Then again it is Survivor and everyone who wants to remain on good terms with me know not to call between 8-9 PM. I am happy with my progress on Rose but I so want more done on this. It is not that difficult and there are sections of one color so I am not constantly changing. It is just I haven't had the time to sit peacefully. I may try to sit this afternoon before I get the kids from school. I normally crochet for a few minutes but I could get a threaded needle finished in those few minutes. I will see how my day goes.

I am also thinking of some sort of rotation again. I kind of pushed it into the back of my brain but it is surfacing again and I really want to make progress on my WIPS. I like all of them and want them finished, it is just getting organized that is baffling me. Hopefully I will come up with something rational and doable. But right now I am just thinking and pushing around ideas in my head.

I better get moving. I do some of my best thinking while doing boring household stuff.

Have a great day everyone!
