Slow Down Saturday

Ahhhh, its finally here. Saturday and I have nothing on the agenda today except going to Mass tonight. By dinner time last night I was exhausted and told DH that I was doing nothing, nothing, nothing. Well I ate my words. Our friends stopped in to pick up a package they had delivered here and invited us over for drinks and munchies. I told them I would think about it. Well after 5 minutes, I walked over and then DH followed and we stayed til about 10:00. But it was just us and it was nice. We just sat around talking. It actually rejuvenated me just a bit.

I came home and went to bed and was up early this morning. For today I have a few chores that include laundry and dinner preparation. I also want to go to Mass this evening. I love that Mass but since DS became an altar server, we have to go to whatever Mass he is assigned. He doesn't have to serve a Sunday Mass this weekend so I get to pick the one I want.

In between the few chores, dinner and Mass, I plan on stitching. It has been a few weeks and I am not counting the 10 or so stitches I did on Tuesday night (or was that Wednesday).

Tomorrow is going to be pretty much the same but I may attempt to scrapbook. I haven't touched my stuff since it was delivered. I would like to try a page or two and see how it goes.

Maybe tomorrow I will have some progress pictures to show. I know definitely I have a crochet square so let's see if I can get a cross stitch and maybe a scrapbook progress picture to show.
