Happy Friday everyone!!!! I am glad today is finally here as I am looking forward to the weekend.

Judy, you were so right. The manicotti was a breeze but my legs hurt from standing in the same position for 3 hours while making the crepes. I never made them before but have done other pastas. I don't know why. Hopefully they will be very yummy tomorrow night at our dinner.

I have no progress pictures to post today because I did not stitch on the dragon or Coffee all week. I would post a progress picture of my little freebie flower fairy but all that is on the fabric is a blob of orange. I am so hoping coming Sunday that I can relax and stitch and start my week off right.

Today it is absolutely pouring buckets of rain here. I feel so bad for the people that are getting more but as I look at our rain I can't imagine it being worse anywhere else. Of course, I need to do a grocery store run in the rain with three kids in tow. I am so not looking forward to it.

For most of the day, I am going to do the normal household stuff like laundry and straightening in prep. for tomorrow's dinner. We are really looking forward to it. The three of us (K, S and I) were either on the phone last night or walking back and forth between our houses and that is what we talked about. S's DH probably thinks we have lost our minds. LOL

I hope everyone has a great weekend and stays safe. My prayers are still with the people of London and for the safety of my friends in the US who must travel the rails, subways, mass transit of any kind. What these cowards are doing is senseless. Life is precious and something to treasure.
