Think of DS..

and Mom too!!! Tonight DS makes his Confirmation!! Gosh, I hate to say this but I am going to be glad when this is finished. TWO Sacraments in 10 days!!! YAHOO!!! I know I am not the only one but I feel like I have been preparing and not getting a break these days. Yes I did take a couple days off after DD's Communion but it was right back in the saddle again but this time the questions and studies were on the Holy Spirit. But he is as prepared as he will ever be.

I just finished ironing his robe and shirt for tonight. Originally he was going to wear long sleeve white shirt but because of the cast, there is no way the cuff will button around the cast. So he is wearing one of his short sleeve school shirts. It doesn't matter as no one but I will know. The robe was a real #$#$# to iron. I was praying the whole time that I wouldn't scorch it. Thank goodness DS is not really tall otherwise I may still be ironing it.

Both kids are getting out at noon today thanks to DS. 6th grade has half a day to prepare for this evening and since DD is his sister she gets out too. I wrote a note to the teacher and hopefully he will give her a break with homework. There just won't be time.

In a few minutes I need to run to Dress Barn. The blouse I was wearing tonight has something on it. So I am going to get another one or maybe a whole outfit. I don't know. I will see when I get there. DH just had to laugh when I informed him of that an hour ago. LOL Then I will get the kids from school and give them lunch and then take my shower. Then it is DS, DD and then we are dressed and out the door. DH is coming home early too. I just pray traffic from South Philly isn't bad. Last night it was. And of course this week he is installing windows and doors in South Philly. I don't even want to know where he parks his truck and trailer. For those of you who don't know, the streets there are small and impassable as the locals double park. Yes double park that you can barely drive down these small streets. But anyway, he is near my favorite bakery and hopefully he will get me something from there on my birthday on Thursday. I gave him the big hint yesterday. In big hint, I TOLD him what I wanted. LOL Now to see if he remembers.

In answer to a comment Cathy left, I have seen Billy Joel many times along with both times he was here with Elton John (one time at Vets Stadium; once at the then known First Union Center). I adored those concerts the best. So I am so excited to be seeing Movin' Out. The song has been in my head since last night and I woke up humming it. I have a feeling for the next month or so that is all I will be humming as it is now stuck in my head. LOL

Well I better scoot otherwise nothing will be ready by this afternoon. Have a great day everyone and I will let you know how everything goes tomorrow.
