Stitching QOTW-Oldest/Longest

What project has been a WIP/UFO the longest?
That would have to be Chatelaine's Mystery 2 which is now Convent's Herb Garden. I am still on Part 4. It is not that I don't like it, I actually adore it, but life got in the way and I couldn't concentrate and now I am at a part where I need to find a better way to stitch with it. DH made me a custom scroll frame for it, but in the past two years life got in the way and it is put away at present. But I will complete it one of these days.

Or what project took you the longest to complete?
I have only been stitching for 11 years. I started shortly after DS was born. I fell in love with Cross My Heart's Village Alphabet. At the time I only stitched on one project at a time. I started it in August of 1994 and finished it November 5, 1995. It now hangs proudly in my living room and I get lots of oohs and ahhs when people realize it is stitched. It really is HUGE!!!

Hey-

Came across your blog today. Good stuff. Nice "free" picture!

Noticed you were a college sports fan. Hoping you could add a blogroll link to my college basketball blog, http://collegeball.blogspot.com. I'd very much appreciate a link on your site.

And would gladly return the favor, adding a link from my site to yours.

Thanks!

I'd love to see a picture of your Village Alphabet if you have one!
