TGI-Thursday

I am so glad today is Thursday. We are off school tomorrow so today is like my Friday. I do not need to set my alarm nor do I need to address anything that comes my way in two schoolbags this evening. I also do not have to deal with homework or studying. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind doing that stuff but it seems like since the beginning of the school year that is all I have been doing. I thought the mountain of paperwork would subside by now. It really hasn't. I don't know what is up with that. I know that September is a biggie paperwork month with the start of school but come on, it is the middle of October. I have noticed it is getting less and less but it is still coming home almost every night.

Well enough of that. It is still raining here. That steady drizzle rain from yesterday is still here. It is just a mess and I am so done with the rain. I really do understand that we needed it badly but enough is enough. I am so hoping that we see the sun by the weekend. This almost reminds me of the dead of winter when you really are not motivated to do anything.

But I am motivating myself today. I am doing my laundry and I have some straightening to do and then I need to go to lunch mother again. These kids are going to be wired today. They have been inside for two weeks and tomorrow is a day off. ACK!!! I think we need combat pay for today.

Once we are in today, I don't plan on moving. I am planning an easy dinner of soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. Then I plan on sitting down and stitching. I haven't stitched all week and I really want to. I don't have to worry about getting to bed early so I am hoping that my eyes stay open long enough for me to stitch.

I guess that is about all from here. I will take a progress picture and post it tomorrow and maybe I will have another 3 squares to show you from my CAL. I am having trouble with the #55 square and so far it is measuring the way it should. But then again I don't even have 2 inches into it. It was when I got to 3 inches that all of a sudden it was an inch bigger.

Have a great day everyone!!

No school tomorrow? Curious- why is that? We don't have school on Fridays as it is because we are just a little private preschool/kindergarten...we make our own rules! Enjoy the day!
