Another Rainy Day!
I am sitting here watching as the rain is coming down yet again. It started last night and was very heavy through the night and it is still coming down steady. Sigh...I am so ready for the rain to be gone. Last night it was nice as I was snuggled on the couch stitching. Today I have things to do. Sigh...
Well enough whining about the rain...like I said I have things to do. I need to run out for a few things I forgot yesterday at the store. I decided after I got home that I was going to make a pot of beef vegetable soup tonight. Of course, I didn't buy noodles or abcs or small pasta to put in there. At the time of my grocery shopping, I wasn't planning on soup. It came to me last night as I was doing dishes and the rain started again along with even colder temperatures than we have been having. So I will do that as soon as I get off of the computer.
Yesterday was a great mail day in that I got my Silkweaver's fabric in the mail. Gosh, that was fast. I ordered it on Friday morning. I don't have it in front of me but it came packed in a clear bag with orange and black shreds of paper. It was all wrapped in a black and orange ribbon. Too cute. Inside were 6 pieces of fabric including a biggie hand dyed in Wandering Ivy. I don't remember the other colors and counts but I was very happy with my treat bag. In fact, I would love to get another one. LOL But I will be good. I have to find stuff to stitch on what I received yesterday. But I highly recommend Silkweaver's. Great product and great customer service.
Last night I managed more on Rose and that white area to the left is almost filled in. I am really enjoying how it is coming to life. I hope it stays that way as I have 3 more of these panels to stitch (different flowers, same type background). I figure I will stitch another one after Rose and then move to something else so I don't get burned out. Hopefully in that time, I will have a somewhat working rotation so that I can work on the dragon and Coffee, too.
Besides a couple errands this morning, I plan on some cleaning. With any luck, I will have one of my kids' rooms de-junked. I have a feeling just one of those rooms is going to be an all day job. LOL
Have a great day everyone!

Rain - it always tends to slow me down - does it do that to you, too? I hate to tell you this, but we haven't had a cloud in the sky - started off at a record-low of 36 this morning and have made it to the mid-seventies this afternoon.
I'll send you some, okay?
