24 Days Until...

CHRISTMAS!!! Gosh, it is flying on by and I have so much to do. I probably won't be able to blog every day because of it but I will check in pretty frequently.

As of this writing, our outdoor lights are hung and lit and look so pretty. We need something else for the lawn and maybe we will run out tonight for it. But it is looking very pretty.

Now we have the inside to do. We are getting our tree on Sunday so the boxes will come out of the attic over the weekend and I will start that.

After that I have the baking to do and the shopping to continue and then finish. I usually have a little more shopping done at this point but I am trying not to stress about it. It will get finished even if it is later than I want. I am going to try to spend a little time online either this afternoon or tomorrow morning.

The house is staying neater but it is hard with 2 kids and a DH. I love how it looks til about 3:30 when the kids get home from school. Then it is is mess til the next morning. LOL But today I should finish up the bedrooms and then I just have to keep vigilant in maintaining it. Easier said than done!!

I know I promised pictures but they have to wait a day or two. I am making great progress on 12 Days of Christmas. So far I have numbers 6-8 finished and the letters C and H finished. This is only 3 evenings of stitching so I think I may just have this finished, framed and hung before December 24. That is my goal!!! Let's see if I can stick with it.

I have restarted with my crochet squares and so far #55 is stitching to gauge. I should be finished with this one in the next day or two of waiting in the car.

I guess that is about it from this end. I hope you are all having a good and stress-free day on this first day of December.

We just have the outside of our house done, too...we need to work on the inside, but maybe in another week or so - Tyler will be too tempted to tear it all down!

21 days left...
Maybe it's a little comfort: many many people have the stress.
We don't have to buy presents, that's a hugh relief. And I just enjoy the holidays, I don't look around if the house is tidy, I already know it isn't (4 kids and a husband...).
:) :) :)
good luck with all the preparations
