I Was Bad!!

It all started innocently enough. I got online after I got the kids off to school to read my email. There was an email from ezsupporter to renew my dues for the year. So I figured I would do that before I forget. I have like another week or 10 days til it expires. I did that and went back to my inbox and there it was. An email from Silkweavers with a Spooktacular Sale. I wasn't going to look but I did!!! Oh I wanted one of everything as the prices are great. So I got myself a Medium Grab Bag of different fabric. Some will be hand dyed, it will be 28 to 32 count and will be different sizes. Just what I want!! I like a selection to have on hand and the other day when I was searching through my stash for fabric for Star Light, I noticed I was running a little low on the different colors (from another Silkweavers Sale). So now I am a happy camper and can't wait to get it in the mail. I justified this purchase in that I still haven't bought myself anything from me not going to CATS.

So that has been the highlight of my day. It is cold, gray, rainy and dreary here today. Tomorrow is supposed to be a wash out too. I hope it all clears out for Sunday. DD has a bday party to go to. It is her best friend and we are taking a moonlight ride to a witch's house for a bonfire and roasted marshmallows. We are so looking forward to it. It is at a local farm and when DH drops us off, him and DS will get our carving pumpkins. We have so much fun when we carve our pumpkins and I can't wait for that either. So I hope our plans go through for Sunday. Otherwise the women in this house will be a little disappointed. LOL

Tonight we have plans to go out and get the birthday gift and a bell kit for DS for band. He is playing the drums and needs the percussion kit. So we will go rent that and get it out of the way.

Tomorrow we made plans with our friends. These are the friends we do the round robin dinners with and we all live on this street only houses away. Hopefully the plans will go through. If not, I have plans to sit and stitch.

I did great stitching this week and will post a picture after the weekend. I managed to get to the half way point on one side of the Rose. There are quite a few stitches to make it to the half way point on the other side but it is looking great.

I am hoping for lots of time to stitch this weekend. I am trying to get some of my household stuff out of the way so I don't have to deal with it this weekend. I was so slow this week and fell behind in stuff so hopefully by tonight I will be in good shape to let stuff go til Monday.

Have a great weekend everyone!!

Wow - I kind of did that the other day when a neighbor told me that amazon.com/toysrus.com had Hasbro games on sale, buy one get one free - we now have two yahtzees and two Boggles to give as gifts at parties this year!

It's always a nice treat to buy yourself some stash! That ride/bonfire sounds like a lot of fun. I hope the weather clears up for you.

I just got a great MP3 player from my husband, so I feel I can't get anything for my stitching at the moment. But I'm a happy camper too!
I can feel completely with you: it's so nice to find something you want...
have a nice weekend.
