I Like Thursdays!

For some reason, I like Thursdays. Of course, I like the weekends and Friday but I like Thursdays. I don't know why but I always seem to be my best starting on Thursdays. Maybe I am just getting too old and it takes me a few days to get in gear after Sunday. I don't know but I am looking forward to the day ahead even though it is the usual boring type day around here with me doing household stuff, school stuff, dinner stuff, etc.

Gosia, thanks for telling me about the Drawn Thread site with the freebies. I will go check it out. For now, I am happy with doing Star Light, Star Bright as an ornament. How I will finish it, is beyond me. My luck, it will end up in a frame. LOL

In other news, today I have to do lunch mother again. I am also scheduled for next Thursday too. I have a feeling this is going to go beyond October. I am not complaining as I enjoy doing it and seeing my kids during their day. The lady that normally does it has both her knees or hips replaced and came into school the other day. My friend who saw her said she doesn't see how she can come back anytime soon. So I will enjoy these Thursdays while I can and hopefully pick up a few more substitute jobs during the year. With me being there so regularly, I am making friends with the other lunch moms.

Last night I managed more on Rose and am hoping for a good night tonight with it. I am seeing that halfway point of the chart on the horizon and am doing my best to reach this goal.

Last night I also started thinking again about that R word. I really want to do some sort of rotation but I just can't get it all sorted out yet. It may end up that I don't do a rotation at all. Either way is fine as long as I am enjoying stitching. That is what counts.

I also started thinking about what I want to do for next year. Looking back to the beginning of the year, I had great intentions of all this stitching. In reality, I was hit or miss. I figure it is just because I really wasn't settled. When I did work at a rotation, it worked for the most part as I was seeing my WIPs every week. That was a good thing. But the bad thing was I never did ornaments or anything new for my new home. The new things are still being stitched. LOL So I am starting to think about what I want to do for next year. It is great being a stitcher and making stitchy plans. I just need more arms or more hours in a day or both. LOL

I better get my butt in gear. I have lots I want to do today.

Have a great day everyone!

I think it's so great that you can go and help out at school. I'm hoping that when the kids are in school, I can still be a SAHM so that I have the freedom to volunteer for school things.

I like Thursdays too - we don't have school on Fridays so Thursdays are our Fridays! YAY!

Have a good one!
